ALBERT DRIVE – The Exhibition
In January 2013, six commissioned artists joined the ALBERT DRIVE project with the shared aim to engage with people living on and around Albert Drive.
They brought with them a whole new set of skills and interests working across film, photography, installation, architecture, performance, dance and visual art in order to further explore the idea of neighbour from a whole new perspective.

Photography workshops at Amina
For the past few weeks, I have been running photography workshops with a wonderful group of ladies at Amina. This week they brought in a personal object and made lovely diptychs using portraiture and still life to show their emotions and memories towards the object they brought in.

Tashi and I went to meet the women at Roshni last week, and it was great talking to them about the project and hearing their ideas and suggestions. I’m going to be running photography workshops at Roshni in a few weeks, and will be introducing the ladies on how to use photography to document their day to life on Albert Drive.
