About Glas(s) Performance

Glas(s) Performance are a local theatre and performance company that live and work in Pollokshields and are responsible for leading the creative side of the ALBERT DRIVE Project.

The company delivers a socially engaged performance practice that collaborates with real people in the place of fictional characters to tell stories that resonate with audiences of all ages and experience. 

Glas(s) Performance aims to produce this type of new and dynamic performance work in Scotland and create a national platform for Scottish communities and individuals to tell their stories and share their histories in a professional and valued context.  

The company is led by Jess Thorpe and Tashi Gore in collaboration with Rachel O’Neill and is supported by Viviane Hullin. 

As well as leading the ALBERT DRIVE Project as a whole, Glas(s) Performance are also responsible for creating The ALBERT DRIVE Neighbourhood WatchLetters to our Neighbours, Everybody’s HouseALBERT DRIVE Shared Meal, ALBERT DRIVE Performance and curating/programming the ALBERT DRIVE Exhibition.
