Volunteers
ALBERT DRIVE offered a unique possibility to design and develop a Volunteer Programme providing creative opportunities for local people to further their interest in the arts and explore and expand their skill set alongside the project.
There were two ways to get involved:
Creative Volunteers
A long-term placement for the duration of the project working with the lead artists, venue and commissioned artists on the delivery and development of the project.
Event Volunteers
An intense period of engagement in the project working to support and facilitate the Final Event Weekend in July.
The Volunteer strand soon became an integral part of the success of the ALBERT DRIVE Project and provided a huge resource in terms of the energy, commitment and ambition of its delivery.
The Volunteer strand was co-ordinated and facilitated by Viviane Hullin.
